Wright Plus Architectural Housewalk, May 16

Things To Do In Chicagoland
Time to start planning those warm weather outings! The Frank Lloyd Wright Housewalk is a Chicagoland classic, and the 41st annual event is full of delightful additions.
This year, for the first time ever, Wright walkers can take a tour of the Avery Coonley House. The Coonley House, which the architect described as his "best work," officially listed this month for $2.1 million. Featuring the absolute best of everything Wright, Prairie Style fans won't want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The Housewalk takes place on Saturday, May 16 and includes 10 sites, available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You'll spend the full day enjoying rare interior tours of private homes, plus entry to landmark Wright buildings at your leisure. Wear your flats (high heels aren't allowed in the homes!) and plan to explore the entire neighborhood.
Tickets are $125 for the general public and $95 for members of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust. Dislike lines? The Fast Pass tickets return this year for $610 for the general public and $595 for members. Attendees can also preorder a Whole Foods Box Lunch or choose from a variety of day trips and weekend packages for a truly unique experience.
